True story
The following story is completely true and has unfortunately happened not one but TWO times at my work, to the same person…not me.
Our copier machine has both copy and fax settings. A very handy invention for those of us who know how to use them. One of my coworkers, who shall remain unnamed, wanted to send a fax, so she fed the document through the machine to be faxed. Thinking she was using the fax mode, she entered the phone number (886-****) into the machine, pressed the green button…and walked away. NEVER WALK AWAY. Little did she know, she was in fact in the copy mode, and she did not send her document to that fax number; she attempted to make 886 copies. And since she was no longer present to catch her mistake, the copier finished off an entire ream of paper in an attempt to appease her request for 886 copies.
Brilliant.
Huh.
I heard this interesting piece of research on the radio. Apparently, women with short arms and short legs have a greater risk of developing dementia. Men with short arms also have an increased risk for dementia.
I may be missing something, but I don’t get the connection.
If this falls down, I blame all of you for setting me up.
A glimpse into the good times we had at our youth lock-in.
Jenga!
It's not what it looks like
This picture cracks me up because it looks like Cindy is throwing up over the side of the escalator. She was really just trying to avoid being in the picture somehow.
Apey fun at the zoo
These apes at the San Diego Zoo were so entertaining. The little black one–let’s call him Junior–seemed to enjoy antagonizing all the others. He was like the squirt of the bunch that didn’t know when to quit. Watch about half-way through the video, the brown one tries to shake Junior off the rope swing. Clearly we enjoyed this quite a bit–you can hear us (and others) laughing the whole time.
Junior goes at it again.
